To most people, this is just an old Jag on a car lift. To all of us at Project Shop, this is the start of a new era, in what we think is a building that rivals any in the business.

It is not my workshop anymore, but ours. I am joined by @aohe_domtaylorlane, but more importantly, the whole team has 'skin in the game', having spent the last month helping with the build out. It is, after all, their workshop.

I have to say, we wouldn't be here without our customers, friends, and partners. We have had so much help and encouragement.

Thank you, everyone. There is still plenty to do, but we will be back at work after the Easter weekend.

All the best to you and the Crew, Sim. I always had a good feeling about you guys!

Congratulations on the start of a new chapter, can't wait for a look around.

Every success guys, still loving my Lancia Fulvia Berlin that you guys worked on a few years ago

Thats a sketchy looking lift that thing is on.

Lookin’ good! Thanx for the recent guided tour. So excited for you!

And this is what I find most frustrating about the no MOT rule. We see cars like this in our workshop every month. We sit down with the owners and try and educate them but they still keep driving their cars in an unroadworthy condition. No MOT does not mean you can drive a car in poor mechanical and structural condition with impunity. It simply transfers the responsibility from the state to the user of the vehicle. I hope the car is scrapped and the owner/driver is prosecuted to the full extent of the law before they are involved in a completely avoidable accident through their own negligence. ... I believe the No MOT rule was created in order to build up a portfolio over time of accidents/deaths/injuries with older vehicles so they can make a play in removing them or limiting their use

Personally I hope it is restored to lead a full and fruitful life.

A disgrace. Shouldn’t be on the road in that state.

Shocking!

Gertrude, you might remember is a one family, much loved Sierra 4x4. With over 300,000 kms on her clock we restored her a few years ago. She is currently back en France, having her Control Technique at the same garage who looked after her when she lived in France full time! ... See MoreSee Less
